Zumba Discs
Wii stops reading discs?? HELP!?
Ok, so heres the story… our wii was working fine.. and then we decided to get Zumba (a game) and it worked for its first try.. and then i stopped the wii and came back later and tried to play it.. it responded that the disc was there but it never played it.. it said something about get manual for troubleshooting. My thought process was that it was a problem with the disc we just bought.. so we went back and exchanged it. Came back with the other disc.. same thing happened. We thought since it was such a new game it wasnt responding properly. So we went out and bought a different wii game called Just Dance.. it did the SAME THING! So we tried all of our older discs which have never had that problem before.. and they did the same thing. Sooo.. its something wrong with the wii… but I looked all around and internet and I still dont know what to do. I dont wanna buy a new wii.. and i dont wanna buy that little manual that cost 20$… somebody please HELP!
unfortunately there us one answer, your disc drive is broken. You have to choices, replace the disc drive or replace the wii. they both cost about the same so instead of getting one right away or fixing it you might just want to wait for the wiiu next year if you dont have an urgent need to play everyday otherwise i would buy a new one
