More facts about Zumba

How many calories did I burn in 45 mins of Zumba?
I did the intermediate 2 45 minute zumba workout on Zumba for wii. Im 5’1″ and weigh 125, so how many calories did I burn?
there’s no way for us to tell. we don’t know how hard exactly you worked, how your metabolism works, what your resting heart rate is, etc. your best bet is to buy a HRM watch. i have one and it tells me
exactly how many calories i burn when i exercise
Which Is More Efficient- The Zumba Fitness or Insanity Workout?
I’m planning on buying the workout, but I’m not sure which one to purchase- Zumba or Insanity. I heard their equally as great in calories burning, but which one is better? Zumba is all about dancing and fun, but Insanity is hardworking and you get results quick. Which one will get you better abs?
it really just depends on how committed you can stay to it and exactly what your goal it.
insanity is just that: insane. it’s grusome, but your result are so drastic, so fast.
zumba is way more fun, but drastic weight loss may take a little more time. plus zumba is mainly cardio, while insanity is cardio and muscle builder. (no it won’t make you “bulk up” unless you purposely try for that.) so it all just depends on your goal

Zumba instructor,
If you was to use zumba,How much would you lose in 5 months?
Meaning that I use Zumba everyday for a hour and the DVD says that you burn 1000 calories with 1 hour of Zumba and also they say you lose one dress size with 10 days of using Zumba.
So how much would you lose with in the 5 months?
I’m afraid you’ve read the box wrong. it says you burn UP to 1000 calories an hour. you’re more than likely MAYBE 500-700 calories per workout, seeing as I took a master class with a Zumba education specialist and that’s the only time i’ve burned 1000 calories with zumba. it also depends on how hard you’re working, and what you metabolism burns

it really all depends on your diet as well. if you don’t have a clean diet then you can forget losing ANY weight at all. you need protein, carbs, and vegetables. restricting calories does NOT work

Is it alright to do both Zumba and Insanity in the same day?
I enjoy both workouts and I still want to maintain on schedule for insanity, so I was wondering if it’s counter productive to do both. Personally I find Zumba to be the complete opposite of insnaity, and I would think that would help with muscle confusion.
Sure if you have the energy. Just make sure you watch your caloric intake (don’t want to be in deficit when doing two workouts!) and the importance of a good recovery drink is moreso.

However, if you are really pushing hard with Insanity, I would surprised if you had gas left in the tank, expecially the max workouts! :)
What do I have to do on The Zumba Fitness Wii game to lose weight everyday?
I recently got the zumba fitness game on wii. I want to know what courses (I forget the name) I have to do to lose weight everyday, like the 45 minutes one. Also if you know any other exercises that will burn fat like walking, jogging or running, even cycling, something I can do without having to pay, without getting abs or a six pack or anything if you know what I mean, thank you!:)
Technically an hour would be awesome. you can torch around 600 calories in an hour. 45 is a great workout too. 30 mins is great for a quick workout. i wouldn’t go any less than that unless you don’t have time or unless you feel like you’re gonna pass out. just do any course you like to lose weight. that’s what the whole game is made for: fitness. so they wouldn’t put any courses on there that WOULDN’T help you lose weight. Lol.
a six pack would only show if you had less the 18% body fat and if you were actually doing wieght training to GET a six pack. they don’t just magically appear. running is a great exercise. try HIIT for the best weight loss results with running
