Zumba – does it work is it fun have you lost any weight
I’ve been doing it for the past 6 months. It really works and it is so much fun!! I have toned up and lost a few pounds. It’s not like other exercise programs that you dread. It is just like a party!!
I Loooovvveee Zumba! Its so much fun! And you get an awesome workout, you come out of the class sweating and energy up! The dances make it real fun, it doesn’t even seem like exercise!
And, I have been doing it off and on for a year and I have lost 20 lbs!
How long will it be before I start seeing results with Zumba?
It really depends how hard you are working, and of course how fast your metabolism is. I had students lose up to 5 pounds in a week and some even lost 30 pounds in a month. You just have to keep working hard . Another thing with zumba since its a lot of cardio the first thing you start is gaining muscle and then you lose the fat
Is zumba a good dance class to start out with?
Of course it is… And it’s a good workout too.
They teach you easy steps and you can do it at home. I have and I love it… And you can look online for zumba classes, even if you don’t have a gym Membership. You can go to the class and pay like 20 bucks… It’s the best class I ever took.
Is Zumba a good workout for slimming thighs and toning glutes?
I teach Zumba and I LOVE it! If you are overweight you will definitely lose weight doing Zumba. But I don’t find it particularly good for toning thighs and rear. I usually stay after class to lift weights. I incorporate a lot of squat-like moves in my class, but I still feel flabby in those areas unless I lift weights. When I used to run, my thighs and butt were in great shape. Can’t run anymore thanks to foot pain so Zumba is a great alternative for a super calorie blaster. Just don’t think it is going to fulfill your needs for toned thighs/glutes. I say go ahead any buy the DVD’s anyways for it is just so much FUN! Do some squats/lunges afterwards with some dumbells for a good 15 minutes afterwards to get the toned thighs/glutes you want.

Zumba is an aerobic dance with many different latin dance styles like the merengue, calypso, reggaeton…
I love it and it makes you feel really good also! Very much recommend!
What exactly do I need to know about zumba?
I was never in a dance class before I started taking Zumba classes! I just jumped right in. It was the funniest thing I ever tried (and still do)!! Just give it a try and with time the moves will become second nature.

Is it better to Zumba in the morning or afternoon?
I’ve been doing Zumba for 7 months now. A late afternoon/ early evening class is best. I feel that way because when I get out of there I don’t want to eat a lot because I think it will defeat the whole purpose of zumbaing. That’s how I stop myself from stuffing myself after Zumba. It is working wonders!
After doing Zumba now for 3-months, I find I actually lost weight and toned better with a late afternoon, early evening class. Then there are those who love and function better on the early morning rush. If you have an instructor name, you may want to locate his/her website and ask
